Deceased Name: BEATRICE B. KANER

BEATRICE B. KANER, 85, died Friday at Mission Terrace Convalescent Home in Santa Barbara. A native of Chicago, Mrs. Kaner lived in Murrieta from 1976 to 2002. She recently moved to Santa Barbara. Mrs. Kaner was an executive secretary for the National Order of Masons for 20 years in Chicago. She was a volunteer at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar.

Mrs. Kane is survived by two sons, Michael of Santa Barbara, Howard of Hemet; a daughter, Deborah Plotkin of Chicago; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Leiner of Murrieta.

Services will be noon today at Riverside National Cemetery. McDermott-Crockett Mortuary in Santa Barbara is handling arrangements.
